I found this stamp at the last convention.  I had a visualization and this is what was created from that vision.

This stamp is from the Artful Stamper.  I had some embellishments of my own including burlap, birds, flowers and ribbon.  It looked like a Thinking of You card so Wa Lah!!!!  I used the following Copics:
Bird house front E50, E51, E53, E55.  The darker areas are E35, E37, E39.  Also used on the bird house is BG000, BG02, BG05.  The flowers are R20, R22 and the leaves I used my Spica pens to give some glitter.    Sorry the image is a little dark but you get the idea.
Have a Great Day.

Here is another Christmas card that I really didn't plan on making but I had a request for a cat lover Christmas card.  Go figure.

I had struggled with this design and I couldn't get it to look like I wanted.  I discovered that this simple design was all I needed.  Sometimes we try too hard when simple is better.

Enjoy.

Kitty Kat Christmas--The stamp is from the Loralie Designs
collection.  The Copic colors are as follows:
                                  Bow: R24, R27, R29, R39
Flowers: C00, C02 for shadowing and the centers are E31,
                                  E34
                                  Cat: C00, C02, C04  Ear: R20, R24
                                  Hat:  YG01,YG03,YG05

I was able to have a Christmas celebration with my closest friends Wednesday night.  One of them has a birthday today. So I would like to tell her how special she is and this was her birthday card I gave her Wednesday night.  She was gracious enough to let me post it for you on the blog.

Here are the colors that I used to create this image.  Leaves YG61, YG63, YG67; Flowers BG70, 72, 75, Centers YR23, YR24.
Sorry I have been away for so long.  I have been going through a tough time so I am forcing myself to get back on the horse and get with the program.  Thanks to all of my friends that have stuck it out with me.

I have had some requests for a Christmas card so here it is.

This is another digi stamp. This one is from Mo's Digital Pencil.  Here are the
               Copic colors I used.
               Dog - E31, E34, E37;  Bone - E50, E53, E55; Fur on his hat - C00, C2, C4;
Bow and the green on the hat - G03, G05, G19; Scarf and the red on the hat -
R24, R27, R29, R39;  I then grounded the dog with E21 so that he was not
               floating in mid air.
The card stock is Cherry Cobbler for Stampin' Up and the bow on the bottom
is from my new toy the Silhouette Cameo.  I love this little gadget and I will show
it to you in our next classes that will be coming up shortly after Christmas.

This is a card many of you have seen but I have never posted it.  This is a different design concept because I cut off her feet to place her in a star studded circle.  The star die cut is from Memory Box and of course Marci is from LaLa Land Crafts.

This makes a quick card to do for Support Our Troops or Operation Write Home.  Of course, you will have to leave out the rhinestones. Bummer.

Be sure to go to the Archives. They are down and to the right side of this page.  Thanks for looking.

I met a new friend at my Copic certification class, Kelly Flint, and she and I exchanged some stamped images to see what each other would do with them.

This is my version of her stamp.  Below is an image of the original stamp.  As you can see I changed it quite a bit.  I liked the container so I used a Faux Patina technique that you can find at Splitcoaststampers.

I added a mixture of Flower Soft in a few choice places and also added a die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Try looking at some of your stamps and see if you can use part of an image to give you further use of your stamps with a completely different look.

Kelly just let me know that this stamp is by Printworks.  Thanks Kelly.

Have a Great Day!!!

This is a different subject matter for me but it was fun to break out of my mold and create something different.  The stamp is from a company called Flourishes.  Flourishes  They specialize in Copics and coordinating colors with Copics. The stamps are polymer. I know some of you do not like polymer stamps but these really stamp cleanly.

I used R24, R27, R29 and R39 on the apples. The flowers are R81, R83, Y28.  The leaves are G21, G24, G28.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

This characters name is Techie which I can relate to since I might at some time been called.  She is painted a little differently than I usually do but it fits her character of Loralie's stamps.  If you look at her web site you will notice that they are more cartoonish in color to fit the style of her stamps.  Loralie Designs
Happy Friday.

Here is Shopper Girl from Loralie Designs.  I thought it would be fun to show you a new way to look at your images after you stamp them by adding texture and designs.  As you can see, this little girl is a little plain but by adding a few strokes here and there she really pops.  Look through some of your stamps and see what you can find to make an otherwise boring image into one that really sings.

If you click on this image (or any of the images on this blog) you will get a larger picture.

This is another one from Loralie Designs.  This cute little lady is called Party Girl.  I used a combination of colors on her.  Below are the colors that I used.

Dress and Hat  G40, G82, G855

Bow on the Hat and Shoes Y00, Y02, Y21

Present R81, R83, R85

Bow on the Present Y93, Y95, Y97

I guess I should have put dots on her shoes, but I had to leave something had to be plain.

Here is a stamp by Loralie at  that some of you will relate to.  You can find these stamps at www.loraliedesigns.com  She has a story behind her as all of her stamps do.  I wish she would publish those stories by the stamp it belongs to. She is a very clever lady.,

Loralies' stamps are more of a cartoon nature so that is why she is colored this way.  It break all the rules that I have taught you, but it shows the versatility of Copics.

Have a Great Day!!!!

Well it happened.  I missed my every other day posts.  You were right, Patty.  Where did this week go?
Oh well, here are two cards that I really like.  I am doubling up on them because I owe you.

Enjoy

Luka on his sled really gets me excited about the cold weather coming.  This card is a mish mash of
different things that I had left over from other projects. It's amazing how you can create from what you already have.

This is a combination of stamps that I combined to make a scene.  Look through your inventory and see what you can create.  It is really a lot of fun and sometimes you discover new uses for the stamps you already own.

The tire was a challenge to color to really make it look like a tire but it was fun to try.

Here is a new post for the day.  I had been hearing about Digi stamps so I decided to try them.  There are several advantages to these little guys.  One, they are stored on your computer so that eliminates storage issues.  They can be backed up on your hard drive or on a flash drive.  If this is foreign language to you, don't worry.  I can explain it to you very simply.  Another advantage that I liked was that you can make them whatever size you would like.

When I post a digi stamp, like this one today, I will let you know.  This little guy is from Mo's Digital Pencil.
www.mosdigitalpencil.com
The sentiments are some I had and it is from Lindy Gang.

The card stock is Stampin Up's Marina Mist and I also used their Framelits.  This is a new Cuttlebug embossing folder I found but I don't know what the name is.

Can you guys believe that I am actually meeting my goal of posting a card every other day.  Any bets how long this will last?

My Copic instructor was Cindy Lawrence and she was instrumental in the colors for this card.

Thanks Cindy.

Check out her website.  It is great for inspiration and Copic color combos. www.onehappystamper.typepad.com

Have a great day and I will see you next time.

OK. A new card every other day might be stretching it but if I posted it, I thought I might be more inclined to get it done.  We'll see.

Anyway, here is a card for Monday.  Some of you have seen this one.  I used shimmer spray all over the card to give the effect of moisture, however, it does not show very well here. Again, the die-cuts used are from www.cheerylynndesigns.com.

I also used a product that we have demonstrated in the club previously called Diamond Dust. It is dimensional and hardens. It is great for bubbles or snow.  I painted on the bubbles for effect.  Gotta love Copics.  I was able to blend colors on the bubbles also.

Her hair is another technique that was shown to us in the certification class.  Personally, I like the way I have been doing it but this does give the illusion of hair a bit more.  Let me know what you think.

Have a great Monday and check back soon to see how long I will be able to get a new card every other day.  (What was I thinking?)

Oops! Two posts in one day. Too much time on my hands today.  Actually, I am waiting on someone and I am killing time.  So here is another card.  Much to your surprise it is not Marci or Luka.  All of the die-cuts used are from Cheery Lynn Designs.  www.cheerylynndesigns.com  I sponged the background and the butterfly.

This card looked better in reality than it does here.  If it hadn't, I would not have posted it. Oh well, whatever!!!
Happy Friday to everyone.  This used to mean a lot more to me when I was working.  Now, everyday is Friday and it is always the weekend.  Oh my, I don't know whether to me excited or not but I will try to hold up under the stress. (Ha! Ha!)

Here is another card that was a mistake and I just kept on playing with it until I got something useful from it.  Enjoy! and  HAVE A GREAT DAY.

This is a new blog site since I was certified in Copics.  My hope is to continue to teach anyone that would like to learn to use these incredible markers.  If you love to color and blend, these are for you.
No, I don't sell them but I love to use them.  They can really bring your cards to life with dimension.

I know this is more of a summer card than for the upcoming seasons. but I have had requests to post it. So here it is.  I hope you enjoy this version.  Of course, as many of you know, this is Marci from La La Land Crafts.  www.lalalandcrafts.com
